Longarm Services
For 35 years, longarming has been my primary busisness along with selling 108" widebacks. I have an Optimum Plus by Gammill Quilting Systems and I do it all by "free motion" not computerized patterns. I take in quilts from all over the USA and have a quick turn around even during the holidays. To make it convenient for the client, I carry batting from The Warm Company, hundreds of high quality threads and of course, extra wide backing fabrics. so, basically all you need to do is ship me the quilt top! I also offer binding.
Here are basics when sending me a quilt;
If sending in a box, put quilt in a plastic bag.
Have info inside of package with who the quilt belongs to.
Write down anything you want me to know, who it's for, age and what you think that they would want for a pattern.
USPS is the absolute best for my rural area, they know me and where to put the packages.
Text me (best way to communicate) to let me know that a package is on it's way. I can also physically talk to you but text first.
I will text when I receive quilt and will go through text for ideas, thread color and pattern ect.
I will let you know an approximate amount of time to quilt your quilt but please let me know your budget ahead of quilting, I am not offended when one needs the cheapest possible.
When you communicate with me through text, (sorry, I am getting so much spam in phone calls that I must put my phone on silent) I will let you know where to send your quilt.
I do take credit cards, paypal, venmo and the old fashion way, checks and if you are local, cold hard cash!!
